In view of the persistent rains in the upper part of the province of Yauyos that are increasing the river flow and causing damage to the populations located on its banks, Celepsa is coordinating with local leaders to jointly address this situation. Celepsa is also coordinating with the Cañete Board of Users to support the defense and maintenance of the canals it manages, which have been affected.

Celepsa informs that today there has been an increase in the natural conditions of the Cañete river flow above 300 m3/s, which has been causing overflows and damages in the upper part of the river.

Celepsa, Peruvian electric power generation company, informs that the maintenance of the Capillucas dam will take place this February 22, 2024 from 09:00 a.m.
