Managing risks

Identifying and recognizing the most critical hazards and risks of our operations, verifying that the controls adopted are the most appropriate and are implemented effectively, validating this knowledge in our employees and contractors, empowering them to make risk-based decisions and generating a culture of continuous improvement.

To this end, we have procedures, processes and protocols, such as the development of IPER's (Hazard Identification and Risk Evaluation in Spanish) per work station, a robust system of work permits for the habilitation of spaces and/or equipment and for the development of high-risk work, among others.

Notification and investigation of incidents

We work on the basis of prevention, so we continuously promote the reporting of all deviations, deficient acts and conditions, near misses or accidents, in order to take action with the sense of urgency that the situation warrants.

Raising awareness and developing competencies

Employees must be trained and made aware to work safely and be able to manage safety and health in their area. Each job position has its own hazards and risks, and consequently, training and education are defined and practiced according to them, considering operations in normal operating conditions as well as in emergency situations.
