GORE Lima-provincias recognized Celepsa's dedication during the vaccinations in Cañete and Yauyos

Celepsa reaffirmed its commitment to the fight against covid-19 by assisting the Cañete-Yauyos Health Network in the three vaccination days held in both provinces. More than 100,000 people have been immunized as a result of the collaborative effort.

Lima, 6 September 2021 – In the context of the fight against covid-19, the Regional Government of Lima-Provincias (GORE Lima-Provincias) and Celepsa collaborated to achieve the highest number of vaccinated people in the provinces of Caete and Yauyos, during the vaccinations planned by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) at the national level and carried out by the Health Network of Caete and Yauyos between August and September.

100,000 people have been immunized!

So far, and without taking into account the third immunization day held this past weekend, more than 100,000 people have been vaccinated, exceeding the health authorities' expectations.

In recognition of this work and effort, Governor Ricardo Chavarra Oria recognized Celepsa for its participation in each vaccinathon held in Cañete and Yauyos, support that he said was not limited to vaccinations, but also included various actions such as the delivery of medical kits, screening tests, media coverage, and the delivery of an oxygen plant to the Yauyos Prelature for the benefit of the population and which has been operating for several months.

Giovanna Valverde, Celepsa's Deputy Manager of Social Management, thanked the GORE Lima-provinces for the award and stated that the firm will continue with its efforts to achieve a Peru free of covid-19. "We will continue to support every vaccinathon," she stated emphatically.

Furthermore, he emphasized the excellent work of the entire Celepsa team in effectively supporting the work of the Cañete-Yauyos Health Network employees, which allowed them to exceed the immunization targets.
